Guajillo's menu is a celebration of classic Mexican cuisine. Recommended favorites like Enchiladas Poblanas and Enchiladas De La Casa offer a divine introduction to their signature mole and zesty salsa. Customers rave about the Masitas de Puerco, showcasing perfectly tender pork shoulder paired with caramelized onions, and the Taconazo, featuring a delightful assortment of tacos bursting with flavor. With dishes priced reasonably, such as the hearty Fajitas ranging from US$21 to US$26, there’s truly something for every palate and budget.
But it's not just the food that keeps patrons coming back. Guajillo’s margaritas are legendary; enjoy them by the pitcher for the best value! They perfectly complement the vibrant dishes and enhance the communal dining experience. Guests like Vicki have declared the margaritas to be among the best in the area, adding another layer to an already unforgettable meal.
Whether you're savoring the zesty Huevos Divorciados at brunch or relishing the bold flavors of a Pollo Mole for dinner, every visit to Guajillo guarantees a celebration of fresh, authentic ingredients. As Richard Turk highlighted, expect generous portions that ensure you leave satisfied, and a price point that offers remarkable value considering the quality of the food.
The atmosphere is as important as the dishes themselves, creating a calm yet spirited backdrop for delicious food and good company. It's a place where strangers become friends over shared plates of nachos and the cheerful clink of margarita glasses. Sandy Carson captures this sentiment beautifully, noting that the staff’s friendliness enhances the overall experience, making every visit feel like a delightful reunion.
In summary, Guajillo stands out as a captivating culinary destination in Arlington, renowned for its authentic Mexican flavors, exceptional service, and convivial atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make this charming eatery your next stop for a memorable meal filled with joy and tradition!
“ We were there for a Sunday lunch. I had Masitas de Puerco (pork shoulder and caramelized onions) and my friend had Taconazo (five tacos with different meat, pork shoulder, beef, chicken, etc.) The food was delicious and the portions big. My friend finished his tacos but I had to box up my pork shoulder. The service was very attentive. It's a place I would go back. ”
“ This place is simply great. The staff is really friendly. They always keep the chip bowl full. The margaritas are strong and the best value when you get a pitcher. The food is really good too. Everything I've gotten has been excellent from enchiladas to their mega burrito to tacos. I find myself going back here a lot because of the excellent service and good food. ”
“ Calm and relaxing atmosphere with amazing food and even better service!!! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice local spot to have good food and drinks at! Can’t say enough good things about Guajillo but it’s 5 stars from me!!! ”
“ Lively and rustic restaurant offering sumptuous starters and packed main dishes. There’s something here for everyone. Great beers and tequilas on offer. We were welcomed with home cooked nachos with a hot salsa. We ordered starters of cheese nachos and a salad as we hummed and deliberated the mains. We went for Shrimp Tacos, Pollo Mole and Skirt Steak. The waiting staff are very polite and attentive. They kept our water topped up and gave us a load of tips. 130 for three of us including 3 beers and the tip. Great value for the quality and authenticity of the food. ”
“ Fabulous fresh food, friendliest staff, chill atmosphere. Feels authentic and true to its cultural roots, from the recipes (especially the salsa and mole sauce!) to the interactions with servers, bartenders, and management. The margaritas are amazing, too! I recommend it as a great spot to meet up with friends or even for happy hour all alone. You'll make friends! ”
“ Delicious! Wish I discovered this place sooner. We ordered the combo fajita and shared between two people (yes it’s large. The shrimps are huge). Flavor is amazing, all the ingredients are fresh and seared perfectly. Their salsa also tastes amazing and homemade. Definitely adding this place to our restaurant rotation. ”
“ I enjoyed dinner at Guajillo with friends, and it was a delightful experience. The Mezcalita was easy to drink and would be perfect on a hot summer day. The table salsa and chips were stellar. The enchiladas were delicious, and the serving was generously large. The decor is charming, creating an intimate atmosphere. It's truly a hidden gem for anyone in the mood for Mexican cuisine. ”
“ Our waiter was so nice and attentive! The food was great especially the portion sizes like look at that burrito size. Not pictured: huge margarita pitcher to share with friends or by yourself if it’s that kind of day ”
